|  | Legal Proceedings Update - Forum open again | 11-02-2009 12:00:00 | We’re back again: the forum is online!!!
We’ve had some legal issues in the past weeks which are, unfortunately, not quite over. We’re of course still of the opinion that we don’t do anything wrong or illegal with our website. But for reasons beyond our control, we sometimes have to make tough decisions, how hard or how frustrating this may be.
A wise man once said: “You can be right, but it’s a different story to get your rights”.
Most important change on Myp2p is that there will be no more links to the Dutch Eredivisie Competition. It is not allowed to post messages with Eredivisie links anywhere on the site or the forum.
Until further notice, there will be no more links to the other competitions mentioned earlier (Premier League, Serie A, NHL, Elitserien, SM-Liiga and Allsvenskan). We are still awaiting a judgement regarding these. We do think we have a very strong case, but keep your fingers crossed!

Once a judgment has been given, we will notify you of the outcome.

The World Championships Handball for men kicked off yesterday with the opening match between Croatia and Korea. More then 2 weeks of handball action is coming up and will be presented to you on your pc screen, by a varity of links. It contains first a preliminary round, followed by a Group Stage and ofcourse the Finals.

* The Australian Open (Tennis, Men and Women)
Starting this Monday, the first Grand Slam of the new Tennis season and also the real start of this years ATP and WTA Tour. In the past weeks the pre-tournaments in Australia, Qatar, Asia and New Zealand have shown us the favourites. It's more close then every before. As always the Men's have some great top favourites, with Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, Murray, Tsonga, Roddick and even Monfils and others who're close to the top of the world. Also home favourite Hewitt will try to surprise. On the women's side there's the world leading Jankovic, the Williams sisters, Safina, Dementieva and a whole bunch of Russians. When we look to the pretty ones we don't forget Ivanovic, Cornet or others you like. But it's all about the tennis, two weeks long.

That was the look-up for the coming weeks, have fun!!! | | Serie A resumes after their winter break | 09-01-2009 16:33:00 | This weekend the Italian Leagues are resuming after their short winter break during Christmas and new year. Starting tonight with a Serie B game the Italian calcio is back again to enjoy.
on Saturday the Serie A will begin the new year with Genoa vs Torino, followed by Inter vs Cagliari. Inter Milan is still leading the table with 42 points out of 17 games, followed by Juve, AC Milan, Fiorentina, Napoli, Genoa and Lazio. As always the busiest day with Italian football is the Sunday with their 15:00CET kickoff.
We end the Sunday and the Italian weekend with a nice game between AS Roma and AC Milan. Normally you would say this is a top game but with Roma on a 11th place it's hard to classify this as a game between two top teams in a great shape.

| | Downtime | 04-01-2009 18:49:00 | Today we had some downtime starting at 16:00CET/15:00UK/10:00EST. Our database seem to have crashed. It took a bit long before it got fixed as its a Sunday, but we're up and running again so far. We will ofcourse try the best we can to make sure it doesn't happen again. This may result in short downtime to fix it for the future.
- Update Monday: Same issues again, sorry but we're working on it and trying the best we can to keep it running. We had a corrupt database it seems. We solved it temporary and will see if it continues working this way. As a test all user accounts on the website have been deleted to see if that solves the issue, or not.
- Update Tuesday: Again the same issues, we thought we got it solved but it happened once again. Something starts tripping and makes too much connections in some way. So far it seems to be fixed!!!

The last year, 2008, was again a great year. The Myp2p community kept on growing more and more. Also more events have shown up in the past year.
Looking to the future is always difficult, but we hope 2009 will be the same as last year: more feeds, more events to be watched live. Ofcourse we will see what the time will bring us. A Happy 2009 for everyone, all around the World!!!
