We want to wish you a Happy New Year. Let's hope 2009 will be a good year, with all your luck and may your wishes come true.
The last year, 2008, was again a great year. The Myp2p community kept on growing more and more. Also more events have shown up in the past year.
Looking to the future is always difficult, but we hope 2009 will be the same as last year: more feeds, more events to be watched live. Ofcourse we will see what the time will bring us. A Happy 2009 for everyone, all around the World!!!
The Myp2p Team | | TVants new version released | 29-12-2008 11:15:00 | Lately some people were worrying about TVAnts expiring, and that often means a new version is coming up. So it did this year. Exactly the same as last year when a new version was released at the end of the year.

Release info: Hard to detect new options or more info about it, but we guess some bugs have been fixed and it has been made faster again.

| | Fifa Club World Cup | 20-12-2008 20:45:00 | More then a week ago the first games of the Fifa Club World Cup 2008 started. The minor teams who won on their continent kicked of this tournament in Japan, and this week Man Utd and LDU Quito tuned in also, both Champions of the biggest football parts of the world: Europe and South America.
Both the mexican Pachuca and the Japanese Gamba Osaka (with a home advantage) couldn't make it tough to Quito and United. So it happened: the final goes again between a team from South America and one from Europe.
This Sunday the final. Wake up early for both fans to follow this match.

Have fun!!! | | Bundesliga Half Term Winterbreak | 16-12-2008 19:43:00 | The bundesliga had their last matchround of 2008 last weekend. Always a good opportunity to look back at the first 17 out of 34 matchrounds.
The most surprising team of this season is Hoffenheim. Promoted from the second division and for eight years they were even playing in the fifth division. But with the funding from Dietmar Hopp they made this small village club a top team which secured this seasons so called "Herbstmeister" title. That means they're leading the league after 17 matches, halfway at the winter. Hoffenheim plays the football most people want to see: attacking, interesting, attractfull and taking the win. They didn't buy any well known players; they just searched for some sub-top players and it pays out. Topscorer of the team is the Bosnian Ibisevic: 18 goals out of 17 game appearances.
On the other hand Bayern is back on track. Everyone has always high expectations about Bayern Munchen and with a bad start they needed to get their wins. They did so and are now ranked second with also 35 points, the same as Hoffenheim. Another surprise is Hertha as third, slowly they're chasing for a Champions League spot. Ofcourse the season is long. HSV, Leverkusen, Dortmund, Schalke and Werder complete the first eight sports in the Bundesliga table.
At the bottom we can find Cottbus, Bochum and Gladbach again. They will have to play a better second half of the season, and when we remind you about HSV getting from the bottom to the sub-top last season it's all possible.
The Bundesliga will resume again on the 30th of January 2009. A long winter break, but during the break there are alot of other leagues and even German indoor tournaments to enjoy. The second half of the season in 2009 will be for sure as interesting.
| | NFL Poll | 15-12-2008 15:42:00 | A quick NFL poll which ran 1 day and a bit more. An interesting game between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowbows. The giants are doing great with a 11-2 standing so far, where Dallas had some problems. But interesting enough the Cowboys managed to win. Something which most of you didn't predict. A few hours before the game > 70% thought the Giants would get a win.
Sundays 8pm NFL Game, who will win:
1. New York Giants (11-2) 798 67%
2. Dallas Cowbows (8-5) 387 33%
But right now, a day later, the poll showed only 1/3 had it right: Dallas won. And that brings Dallas right on track for the playoffs. Beating last years Champions the Giants will give them some spirit. The last regular weeks will be interesting before we head to the NFL Playoffs.
The New York Giants are still leading the NFC, with a 11-3 streak. Dallas is only 7th but they need to win the last two games to reach the playoffs. Keep watching it, and discussing it on our forum ofcourse. All in the road to the Super Bowl XLIII held in Tampa Bay, Florida, on the 1st of February. | |
