Blackhawks Champions!
There was no red light, just Blackhawks flying over the boards in celebration. Sticks and helmets were thrown, scattered all over the ice and still no signal for a goal. After a brief review, there was no dispute - the Chicago Blackhawks were the Stanley Cup champions. Patrick Kane sneaked the puck past Michael Leighton 4:10 into overtime and stunned Philadelphia to lift the Blackhawks to a 4-3 overtime win in Game 6 on Wednesday night for their first championship since 1961.
No one but the Blackhawks appeared to know what was going on for a few frozen moments. Kane and his linemates seemed the only players on the ice who knew the puck found the side of the net. The goal light never went on, but that didn't stop most of the Blackhawks from storming the ice and mobbing each other in celebration. The review was a short one and Kane will go down as scoring one of the biggest winners in team history. "I was just hoping at God it was just an actual goal," said captain Jonathan Toews, the Conn Smythe Trophy winner as playoff MVP. "They came back hard in the third and we just stuck with it."

But not only in Europe everyone is starting to focus on the World Cup. Everyone is slowly looking forward to it all across the World. It's true that in some parts of the world the leagues just kicked off, but almost all will take a break when the action starts.
The World Cup 2010 will start on the 11th June and will end on the 11th July. Then we know who will be crowned the World Champion for the next four years. Of course we've made a special overview page and a special forum section to serve you with all the info you need.

As you all might now, there are three main tours in the cyclist calendar each year: The Giro (Italy - May), The Tour de France (France - July) and The Vuelta (Spain - September). Each will feature 3 exciting weeks of great action. Starting tomorrow will be the Tour of Italy, also called the Giro.
Giro d'Italia
Following the celebrations of the centenary edition of the Giro d'Italia in 2009, this year's race has a more traditional feel and fewer big star names on the start list but promises to be just as spectacular with no dominant favourite for victory and a course that will test riders to their very limit. But don't be afraid, with Evans , Sastre, Wiggins and Basso there’ll be an array of major stars at the start of the Giro in Amsterdam on 8 May. Lance Armstrong’s RadioShack, won’t be there.
A stellar Giro, with a spectacular start and breathtaking final week. Italian champions and major foreign stars will all line up at the off in Amsterdam on 8 May. The great climbers and sprint specialists will all be there, in a fascinating battle that will play itself out from one stage to the next until the grand finale in Verona on 30 May.
In recent years, Race Director Angelo Zomegnan and his staff have created some innovative and entertaining race routes that highlight the beauty of Italy. Many stages remember past Giro winners, re-enact legendary stages and evoke special moments of the 101-year history of the event. Last year the 'centoanno' edition ended in Rome and so avoided the Dolomites in the final week. This year the unique and breathtaking rugged peaks are back with a vengeance, packing the final week before a final time trial to the Roman arena in the centre of Verona.
As always the Giro is an interesting 3 week cycling tour, so make sure to check it out and enjoy the stages. Daily start of broadcasts will be at 14:00CET, finish normally near 17:30CET. (13:00UK/12:00GMT/8am EST and then a 3,5 hour stage)

Sport enthusiasts across the globe are ready to watch one of the biggest rivalries in world football, the Spanish "El Clasico" between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. One of the biggest matches in Spain and also beyond will be played on this Saturday 10th April, at 22:00CET (9pm UK, 20:00GMT, 4pm EST).
It promises to be a huge game again between those two rivals. After wednesdays perfect peformance and play by FC Barcelona (and Messi), many people are looking forward to this football battle. With the opening game last night, which ended in a 9-7 win for the Red Sox over the New York Yankees, the MLB Season 2010 has kicked off. Today you can enjoy 13 other games, with the last opener to be played on Tuesday.
It felt like a long winter for most of baseball since the Yankees won their first World Series since 2000. Free agency dragged out a little longer than usual with teams becoming increasingly more fiscally responsible and no real superduperstars. But the season has finally started again, and it promises to be a nice battle again between the top teams and rivals.
We will keep it short: just tune in to the MLB streaming pages to watch your favourite team or check out the forum for a good discussion, feedback and all you need to have a great MLB Season.

The clock went forward 1h in Europe this early sunday morning 2am. In most parts of Europe the time went from 2am to 3am. So don't forget to change your normal clocks an hour otherwise you're always an hour late for the games ;)
Our servers went also forward an hour and the standard timezone will remain CET, but then +02:00. As the CET timezone went from +01:00 to +02:00. What does this mean for you? A few secanario's on what to do.
My Clock didn't change an hour at all
- You don't have to do anything then. Just leave it as you got it right now. If you're registered you've to got to your profile to set it right again. Login, then set your timezone right and you're ready to go again.
My Clock changed an hour also
- London/United Kingdom :: Put your timezone at +01:00 (UK/BST)
- Central Europe/Amsterdam/Paris/Rome/Berlin :: Put your timezone at +02:00 (CET), our standard servertime also
- Eastern Europe :: Put your timezone at +03:00 (EET)
It's too difficult for me, what to do now?
- Take a deap breath. Now look at our servertime on top of the website. It displays the time we use for our schedules, as a standard. It's our Standard time +02:00.
- Take a look at your pc clock or your local clock.
- The difference between those will be the difference from our servertime.
Example: It's 10:00 on the servertime, my clock displays 3:00. You're 7 hours short of our servertime. Then substract 7 hours from the +2 makes it -5. You select the CST timezone.
Example: It's 10:00 on the servertime, my clock displays 15:00. You're 5 hours ahead of our servertime. Then add 5 hours to the +2 makes it +7. So you select as timezone the +07:00.
