Today during 16:00CET and 18:30CET we had downtime on the Myp2p website due to a major crash on our scripts and database running. Unfortunately this happened at the busiest time of the day and that's why it was hard to get everything back running immediately.
We've fixed this finally and it should be all fine again. We're sorry for the inconvenience caused. Hopefully the problems are behind us now and the new season can start like all before; with watching free live sports on your pc. Have fun!

Today we implemented a few small changes to the layout of the website which should make us completely ready for the next upcoming season.
Overview of the changes
* Competition dropdown menu changed to a webpage for improved browsing speed
* Rugby added as a Sports Category and it replaces Hockey
* LiveTV page has been changed
* Newsletter: It's now possible to sign up for the Myp2p newsletter. Login with your username and password, go to your profile and select "Receive newsletter --> YES" to receive it when there's important info!
* Background fixes for optimalization/updates

| | Coming up: FINA World Championships Aquatics | 17-07-2009 09:50:00 | The FINA World Championships or World Aquatics Championships are the World Championships for aquatic sports. This years version is already the 13th to be held since 1973. Every four years untill 1998, and since 2001 it's held every two years in the odd years. Rome, the capital of Italy, is hosting this years event. From the 17th July untill the 2nd of August all views will point to Rome in the aquatic world.
Sports competitions
Sports in which will be competeted are diving, swimming, open water swimming, synchronized swimming and water polo. They are run by FINA, and in the pool swimming events are contested in a 50 m, or "long course", pool. Each sports has male and female events, except the synchronized swiming. There was some controversy about the swimming suits but the FINA has decided that high-tech swimming suits are allowed at this World Championships. That means alot of World Records could be broken.
Roma09 gets record for participant Federations and athletes
One hundred eighty-one (181) National Federations and 2848 athletes will be united in competition at the 13th FINA World Championships. These numbers have never been achieved at previous editions of the World Championships. In fact, in Melbourne 2007 participant Federations totalled 167 and there were 2158 competing athletes. However, the number of Federations taking part in Roma09 is constantly being updated and it could increase in the weeks to come.

* Improve the data transfering performance.
* H.264 support
* Enhance channel recording feature.
* Enable "ESC" key when the play in full screen mode.
* Fix some minor bugs.

Enjoy! | | World Championships Beachvolleyball | 24-06-2009 15:47:00 | With less than a day remaining before the opening ceremonies and the first match of the 2009 SWATCH FIVB World Championships, the tournament organizers are putting the “finishing touches” on the Vaagen Harbour layout for the 11 days of Beach Volleyball competition on the dockside courts. It promises to be a nice tournament with eleven great days of top beachvolleyball. The venue of this World Championship is Stavanger, Norway. The weather is normally around 20 - 25 degrees celsius, quite perfect for some beachvolleyball event.
Featuring US$1-million in prize money, the 2009 SWATCH FIVB World Championships will have 48 men’s and 48 women’s teams competing on the courts on the Vaagen Harbour docks as Stavanger hosts a SWATCH FIVB World Tour event for the 11th-straight season. The Championships features pool play matches Thursday through Wednesday (July 1) to set the field for the 32-team single-elimination brackets where play begins July 2. The women’s medal matches will be July 4 followed by the men’s podium placement matches July 5. The winning teams will share the $60,000 first-place prizes.
